Refund Policy
Welcome to HeySchool!
After subscription, no refunds will be issued. Similarly, subscriptions
cannot be paused or
reinstated.
Furthermore, HeySchool does not offer prorated refunds for canceled subscriptions.
All
subscriptions are both recurring and non recurring based on clients interest
and require
manual renewal if needed at the end of each paid subscription period. This includes an
Academic-Period plan only.
Similarly, it is your responsibility to evaluate HeySchool, including its features,
limitations, and system requirements before each subscription. HeySchool will not
issue
refunds to customers on the basis of customers not understanding the system
requirements, or
the presence of compatibility issues, including inadequate internet speed or consistency, or
incompatible devices, operating systems, or browser software versions. System
incompatibility based on system requirements should be tested before
subscription.
Fees, Refunds, and Charges
Interpretation
Client (HeySchool channel administrator) shall pay for the subscription fees, and hereby
authorizes HeySchool (and its payment processors) to debit Client’s bank account or charge
Client’s credit card, as stated on Client’s channel subscription and billing page.
The
client agrees that all subscriptions may be recurring and will renew automatically or
need
to manually renew at the end of the period. The client shall also be solely
responsible for
paying and remitting to the appropriate tax authorities all applicable taxes (withholding
tax, sales tax, services tax, value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), etc.) or
duties imposed by any government entity or collecting agency except those taxes based on
HeySchool’s net income. In the event Client fails to satisfy its tax and/or duty obligations
herein, Client shall reimburse HeySchool upon demand for any taxes and/or duties paid on
behalf of Client and shall defend, indemnify and hold HeySchool harmless against any claim
and/or liability (including penalties) resulting from Client’s failure to pay such taxes
and/or duties.
Cancellation Policy.
Client (HeySchool administrator) acknowledges that all subscription fees are charged automatically on a recurring basis or manually updated on clients' wishes until the Client cancels their subscription (Academic-Period plan). The client may cancel their subscription if the client chooses automatic renewal by logging into their HeySchool Account and going to the applicable billing page, clicking settings, and choosing the “Change” or "Cancel" options under subscription and billing. A confirmation email receipt is sent to the Client with the expiration date of the subscription. Please keep in mind that you are solely responsible for properly canceling your account. You must email support before or on the payment due date. However, you can also contact support if you are having difficulty or need help.
Refunds.
All HeySchool subscriptions include no Refund. After Subscription, the service is billed in advance on an Academic-Period basis and is non-refundable; no refunds will be issued. HeySchool does not offer prorated refunds for canceled subscription plans. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for months unused with an open account. In order to treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made.
All subscriptions of Academic-Period are both recurring and non-recurring and will automatically renew or manually renew on Clients interest after the end of each paid subscription period.
HeySchool’s Refund Policy for Academic-Period.
HeySchool is committed to the success of our customers, but through experience, we have found that users have varying requirements, capabilities, and limitations with regard to the types of devices and software they can use, the way their local network is configured, the speed of their internet connection, etc.
These issues will certainly impact a customer’s ability to use HeySchool as it is intended.
Accordingly, HeySchool offers no Free Trial and offers no Month-to-Month and Annual Subscription Plan, which does not allow customers to upgrade, downgrade, and cancel at any time without penalty. We do not recommend any option for most customers, especially those that do not have full certainty or control over their technology environment.
Finally, HeySchool offers an Academic-Period Subscription plan at a significant discount. We recommend this plan for customers who are certain that HeySchool is compatible with their environment. It is your responsibility to evaluate HeySchool, including its features, limitations, and system requirements before selecting the plan.
If you are not certain that HeySchool is a fit for your use case and environment, then you should not subscribe.

By choosing the Plan, you will enter into an academic-period subscription contract that expires when it ends by the Institution after you sign up. You are responsible for paying for the entire subscription. If you decide to cancel before the term of your subscription is up, then you will still be billed for the remaining months on your subscription, and will still have access to its benefits until it expires.
